Sclerotherapy for thread veins
This is a method of making thread veins disappear. These dilated blood vessels are injected with a small amount of solution from a very fine needle. This causes the vessel to contract and the walls to stick together. The blood is expelled and the vein disappears. The treatment is swift and virtually painless with all skin colours and types responding equally well.
Visible leg veins are a common problem for aging women. Surgical vein removal can leave scarring at the incision point, put clients at risk for infection and involve lengthy recovery times. Even newer, less invasive vein removal procedures still require topical anesthetic to control pain. Sclerotherapy is often used in conjunction with laser leg vein treatment.
